Catastrophic Leave Donations Sought
Due to an ongoing battle with cancer, Jack Dunlap of University Police has exhaused all available leave credits. Fellow campus members are asked to donate sick or vacation credits to supplement her exhausted leave accounts. Amounts of hours that can be donated vary depending on bargaining unit. Emeritus Professor Named
President Milton A. Gordon has conferred emeritus status to Daniel W. Kee, emeritus professor of psychology, in recognition of his 28 years on campus during which he served as department chair for nine years and founded the Psychology Department's Peer Mentor Program. The title is effective Aug. 21.

New Emeriti Named
President Milton A. Gordon has conferred emeritus status on the following individuals:
Margaret A. Atwell, emeritus associate vice president for academic affairs, effective Aug. 21. Atwell is recognized for her 15 years of service.
Patricia L. Bril, emeritus librarian of technical services, effective June 5. Bril has served on campus since 1971.
Ron C. Feathergill, emeritus lecturer in business writing, effective June 12. Featheringill has taught on campus for 20 years.
David R. Fromson, emeritus associate dean of the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics and professor of biological science, effective July 1. Fromson was honored for 20 years of service as a faculty member and 11 years as associate dean.
Alfredo "Fred" Molina, emeritus police lieutenant, effective July 5, 2008. Molina, who joined the campus in 1978 as a parking officer, has served for 30 years in the University Police Department.
Robert "Ray" Young, emeritus associate vice president for academic programs, effective Aug. 21. Young is recognized for 32 years of service, including 11 years as chair of Geography, two years as director of the Social Science Research Center, and five years as associate dean of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences.
Student Affairs Conference Set July 14
Faculty, staff, administrators and student leaders are invited to attend the July 14 Student Affairs Professional Development Conference "Knowledge Is Power IV."
The 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. program is sponsored by Student Affairs and will feature workshops sessions dealing with professional development and personal health and wellness for professionals in higher education.
All the workshop sessions will be held in the Titan Student Union.

Juice It Up! — 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Mondays-Fridays
Closed all summer: Green Burrito, Titan Grill, Busy Bee, the Pub and Garden Café.

Summer Library Hours Announced
The Pollak Library summer hours for this summer are: May 27 through Aug. 8, 7:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays, 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. Fridays and noon-5 p.m. Saturdays. It will be closed for Independence Day, Friday, July 4.
From Aug. 9 to Aug. 21, the library will be open from 7:30a.m. - 5 p.m. Mondays-Fridays and closed over weekends.
