VIOLENCE PREVENTION
Mission Statement
To decrease incidents of crimes against women through
a comprehensive campus education program. The educational focus
includes workshops, trainings, gender dialogues, multi-part presentations,
internships, advocacy and counseling. The Campus Crime Prevention
Program incorporates a gender socialization orientation which emphasizes
the role of societal messages in crimes such as sexual
assault, violence in relationships, sexual harassment,
and stalking.
