NATIVE AMERICAN RESOURCE CENTER

The Native American Women’s Resource Center mission is to provide a place where female students can have discussions on the issues affecting them and their community. Continue to preserve their cultural ways at the same time working towards obtaining higher education.

To explore issues ranging from personal to professional growth, heighten awareness of the needs and strengths of the Native American woman.

History

In fall of 1997 the Native American Women's Resource Center was being developed to add to the Center. The discussion group was not formed or offered until the Spring of 1998.
